Ayana B. Joy is a self-taught artist of Grenadian heritage whose handcrafted jewelry and art are inspired by the beauty of the Caribbean Sea. Born in Brooklyn and deeply connected to Grenada, Ayana creates sculptural, ocean-themed pieces using flame-worked glass and beadwork. Her collections—featuring seashell necklaces, floral motifs, and organic textures—reflect her Caribbean lineage, Black diaspora roots, and love for indigenous culture and calligraphy.

Splitting her time between Brooklyn’s Urban Glass Studio and her home studio in Grenada, Ayana brings a unique fusion of island inspiration and contemporary artistry to every piece. Her Mé·lange Beads Bracelets and Sea Shell Necklaces are sustainably made and highly sought-after.
