Meet KalipSo Wine, a local wine producer with a rather unusual story!

It all started during the COVID-19 pandemic, when a simple walk along the beach sparked an idea. After spotting wild sea grapes growing near the shore, the founder wondered, “Why not make wine from these?”

That idea eventually led to what KalipSo describes as Grenada’s first sea grape wine!

Today, KalipSo makes a variety of small-batch tropical fruit wines using local ingredients, including some fruits you might never have thought of turning into wine.

A Few of Their Creations:

• Sea Grape Wine: Made from wild sea grapes found along Grenada’s coastline.
• Mango Wine: A tropical wine made from locally grown mangoes.
• Damsel Reserve: Made from star gooseberries, offering something a little different from traditional fruit wines.
