Asher Mains is one of Grenada’s leading contemporary artists, known for his bold use of color, tactile textures, and creative incorporation of natural materials like charcoal, seaweed, and coffee. His work explores Caribbean identity, environmental stewardship, and vibrant island life, with notable series such as “Sea Lungs” focusing on coral reefs and marine conservation. Asher’s art has been exhibited internationally, bringing global attention to Grenadian creativity.

He is also the founder and creative director of Art House 473—a dynamic community arts space in Grenada. Art House 473 hosts exhibitions, workshops, and events, connecting artists and art lovers across the island. Asher is a dedicated educator, having lectured at St. George’s University (SGU), and continues to mentor the next generation of local artists.
